The AMPS programme

A physical-AI data programme, run in real workshops.

An AMPS programme exists to build the real-world repair, maintenance and service data that physical AI, robots that perceive, decide and act, needs to learn skilled workshop tasks. The data is captured during real jobs in your bays, anonymised first, then structured so models can learn. The work itself is completed along the way. Every programme is a defined project with a scope, a duration, agreed deliverables and an AMPS programme lead.

Real workshop work in. Data for physical AI out.

You provide access to real repair, maintenance and service work. AMPS delivers the programme as a service: capture equipment, capture, anonymisation, structuring and reporting. The main output is a growing, anonymised dataset that robots can learn from; the work completed along the way is the second.

OutputsPhysical-AI data + work doneAn anonymised, structured dataset that robots can learn from, and the work in the agreed areas completed along the way.
One programme, two outputs What the programme is for, and what you get along the way
The purpose The data physical AI will learn from. Every captured job adds to an anonymised, structured dataset that physical-AI models can learn workshop tasks from. Over time, and across sites and networks, this is what makes robot-assisted repair and maintenance possible.
✓Hand-eye movements on video✓Repair times, key moments and decision paths✓Anonymised and structured for physical AI
Along the way The work in your bays gets done. Capture happens during real jobs, so the repair, maintenance and service work in the agreed areas is completed as part of the programme. A practical benefit from the first day, not the goal itself.
✓Work completed in the agreed areas✓Planned by your workshop✓Insight into repair times per step
How a programme scales

From a pilot site to an OEM network.

Physical AI learns best from data across many workshops, brands and situations. That is why the programme is built to scale: an OEM or importer can bring it into its dealer network, so today’s repair, maintenance and service work across the network becomes the data the future of repair is built on.

Stage 1 · Pilot site Prove it in one workshop One site and a defined set of repair areas. The capture scope, anonymisation and reporting are proven in real day-to-day work.
→One site, agreed repair areas→Capture scope tested in practice→First structured dataset and repair-time insight
Stage 2 · Dealer group Extend across a group The same programme across several sites of a dealer group. Repair times can be compared across sites and against OEM catalogue times, and the dataset grows with every location.
→Comparable data across sites→One documented method per job→AMPS Repair Library for own staff (optional)
Stage 3 · OEM network Roll out through an OEM or importer An OEM or importer brings the programme into its dealer network. The result is network-wide, anonymised repair and maintenance data from real dealer workshops, aligned with OEM repair times and maintenance schedules.
→Network-wide structured repair data→Standardised methods across dealers→A route to robot-assisted aftersales
Each stage is its own scoped programme decision. Nothing moves to more sites without agreement, and every stage has its own proposal, capture scope and review points.

What happens, who does it, what you receive.

01Scope

Together we define the programme: which sites, which repair areas, which brands and vehicle types, from when and for how long. For an OEM or importer, that includes the pilot sites and how the programme may extend across the dealer network. We also agree the capture scope: what is recorded, where in the workshop, and how the data will be used. All of this goes into the proposal and then into the programme agreement.

Deliverables

What every programme delivers.

The deliverables are named in the proposal and confirmed in the programme agreement, so both sides know what is being produced and when it is reviewed.

01 Anonymised repair dataset Captured footage and logs, anonymised and structured into steps, labels and timings, ready for physical-AI model training.
02 Repair-time insight How long each step takes in your workshop, compared with OEM catalogue times and, for groups and networks, across sites.
03 Regular reporting Updates from the programme lead on data captured and work completed, at the agreed review points.
04 Work completed The repair, maintenance and service work in the agreed areas, done along the way to the agreed quality standard.
Optional add-onPriced separately
AMPS Repair Library Step-by-step training material built from the anonymised repairs captured at your own location, combined with OEM catalogue repair times and OEM-prescribed maintenance schedules. Real repairs, on the vehicles you service, with your tools and bay layout, kept up to date as new repairs are captured. Unlike generic off-the-shelf training videos, it is specific to your workshop.
→Catalogued per job, step by step→Guidance for less-experienced staff on defined jobs→Can be shared across a dealer group or network→Updated as new repairs are captured Not part of the base programme or its price. Agreed separately, on request.
Data handling & anonymisation

Told upfront. Anonymised first. Used as agreed.

You know what is recorded, and why, before work starts. Nothing is processed until people, number plates and customer information have been removed. The capture scope and the use of the data are written into your agreement.
