Technicians · Robotics & physical AI in repair

Repair real vehicles.
Help build the future of repair, robotics and physical AI.

Robots will only learn skilled repair work from real data of skilled people doing it. As an AMPS technician you carry out real repair, maintenance and service work in workshops in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany, and capture how it is done with a tablet and smart glasses, trained in anonymisation. That data is what physical AI learns from. AutoMPS LLP employs you; your local AMPS team helps you travel, settle in and feel at home.

The role

Technician in a physical-AI repair-data programme.

Each AMPS programme has a defined scope and an AMPS programme lead. Your job has two parts: do good repair, maintenance and service work, and capture how you do it so physical-AI models can learn repair tasks. That is how automotive repair moves towards robotics.

Repair real vehicles Service, diagnostics, EV, tyres, body or heavy-vehicle work in the repair areas agreed for the programme.
Capture the repair Smart glasses record hand-eye movements while you work; the tablet logs repair times, tools, key moments and decision paths.
Trained in anonymisation You learn what may be recorded, and recordings are anonymised before processing: people, number plates and customer information are removed.
Build the future of repair Your anonymised, structured repair data teaches physical-AI models repair tasks, moving repair and maintenance towards robotics.
